Jimmy moved to Nashville in 2003 as Vice President of Claims with Caterpillar Insurance, the captive insurance and extended protection division of Caterpillar. He performed in a variety of global leadership roles, including moving to Singapore in 2006 as the Managing Director of Asia Pacific. After moving back to the United States, Jimmy harnessed his own ideas to develop his own company, Garde Solutions, which partners with manufacturers and distributors of equipment to help optimize extended warranty programs.

Jimmy’s involvement in the music industry began upon hearing the story of Doug Seegers on NPR in 2015. Relating to his story of recovery and loving his music, Jimmy met Doug in 2018 and was driven to support him and help him build connections to further his career. He became Doug’s manager not long after.

The idea of One Heart Management stemmed from a conversation Jimmy had with Doug.  The lyrics, the story in the song, is what has the biggest impact on Jimmy--getting to know the song writers on a deeper level and the stories they have to share. Music changes lives. 

 

Jimmy and his wife of over 30 years Hillary currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee. They have two sons, Clarke and Thomas.
